HD Link splitting files at 1.9gb

I've just installed Neo HDV. Capturing form a Sony Z1. Even thought I've unchecked the box to split fle on scene changes, HD Link creates a new file every 1.9gb.

Any idead?

Using Windows XP.

Thanx

Ian

Your FAT32 formatted disk will limit file size to about 2 gigs..

Disk is NTFS. I routinely capture SD within Vegas files up to 12gb.

Anyway - I'm recapturing in HD Link as m2t without converting - will do a batch convert afterwards - see what that does,

Thanx

I've now used Neo to capture (without converting) m2t files which it does fine - files much bigger than 2gb. But when I then try and convert to avi it gets to 1.9gb again then fails with a "Got EC_ERRORABORT" message. I've logged it with Cineform - hopefully they'll shed some light on this for me.

Incidentally - on one tape there was a gap where i had to review some footage while shooting. Neo seemed to ignore the gap but from that point onwards sound and vision are out of sync by a few seconds. I can fix it by recpaturing form that point but I guess this may be a isde effect of having a break in timecode?
