Recording RAW from the C500
CD has announced that they will support recording 4K RAW from the C500. This document here:
http://www.zgc.com/t/pdfs/canon/c500...k-workflow.pdf Says on page 9 that the Gemini will record "4K RAW files comply with Canon RAW specification" (This is as opposed to the other recorders that use proprietary formats on pages 6&7) So what is that CanonRAW format? Is it a .CR2 image sequence, or something else? I just want to know how I can use those 4K RAW files, and what applications I should expect them to be compatible with.

Re: Recording RAW from the C500
Good Question Mike,
Maybe Dan from CD can help us out here. I am interested in adding the C500 to my C300 and would like to know the workflow prior to a purchase. |
