7Q dims down when recording UHD with FS700

hi

when my 7Q starts to record in UHD (prores) mode, screen dims down, like an iphone screen in lower brightness mode. when I stop recording, it goes normal again. in HD mode it works fine. anyone else with the same problem?

:)

Re: 7Q dims down when recording UHD with FS700

That is to help the battery. If you are using 7.4v batteries.

It does not happen with 14.8v batteries.

It is because the watt draw on the O7Q is high 18w or even more when shooting UHD. It was a good design decision by CD.

So if it bothers you get 14.8 v batteries or use the AC adapter.

I don't mean to be snippy, just stating the facts as I understand them.
