NASA TV UHD: North America's first 2160p60 broadcast channel

Press Release: Harmonic Announces the Availability of NASA TV UHD, North America?s First Consumer Ultra HD Channel | Harmonic Inc

Info/Official Site: http://www.harmonicinc.com/resources/videos/nasa-uhd

If anyone can push UHD broadcast before anyone else, what better content to push than NASA's Space Exploration content!

And the press release notes "HEVC Main 10" for the encoder module. Could this be? 10-bit broadcast is in sight?

Main 10 supports both 8-bit and 10-bit, so you'd need more info before jumping to that conclusion.

Also, it took me a while to realize this was formerly Omneon. Their playback hardware is legendary.
