X-Box doesn't Recognize Yudens but do Memorex
Just purchased some Taiyo Yuden dvd+Rs and regularly score 93 with Nero--that's 93 percent better than my Wal-Mart Memorex dvd+rs!
Anyway, the burned Yuden's don't work in X-Box, but the crappy Memorex's did. Is that normal? Frankly, it isn't a big deal with me, but I was just curious if this was what others have discovered and X-Box only recognizes the poorer quality dvds? Interesting... |

I don't have an X-Box so I can't say whether or not this is normal. One thing you could try is changing the bitsetting for your DVD+R to DVD-ROM when burning, if your DVD burner supports this feature.

Some Taiyo Yuden blanks are fakes, and not real TY discs. Maybe that's it???
