What is the best way to edit a .WMV file
PP2 does not like to do it at all. I don't have the original materials any more and need to make a simple straight cut edit. Any and all help is appreciated. I had been told that windows media encoder would do it, but damned if I can see how.

Windows Movie Maker, included with Windows XP and Vista, will edit .wmv files.
