DVD Architect ISO Image Writer
Using this facility for the first time - noticed that at the bottom right corner of the panel it says "Disc status: DVD+R"
a) Is the ISO image that gets written +/- sensitive? (I thought it wasn't, but the fact this message is displayed makes me wonder...) b) If the ISO image has to be different for DVD-R and DVD+R, how do I change it to DVD-R? DVDA version is 4 Have googled for info on this, searched the DVDA manual and online help, searched DVInfo forum using likely keywords - no lightbulbs turned on. So if anyone can enlighten me (gently!) I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance |

In the years that I've been burning ISO images to DVD-/+R blanks, I've never heard of the ISO structure being different for either one. The software I've used to create ISO images never gave me a choice nor indicated such. My guess is the status message you saw was either showing the format of the current DVD disc in your DVD burner, or was just Image Writer's default displayed format message.
