Anamorphic blunder

Well, I shot an event in 16.9 ratio and have captured the first tape non anamorphic. I was wondering if I'll need to recapture or can is there a way to get around this? Thanks. I'm editing in FCP 5

In the browser window in FCP scroll until you see the "anamorphic" column and add a check mark to each clip that was shot in 16x9.

Another way is to click on the motion tab, then click on distort then type in -33.33 under aspect ratio.

Jonathan's advice is correct, but that may not be the right number. As you are using a 16:9 timeline, I assume, you'll probably want to use an aspect ratio of 0, meaning that it matches the timeline (it will be 33.33 to start; if it was a 4:3 timeline, the -33.33 value would be correct).
