Best quality fcp import

Im using a xh a1 shooting 24f. I just got FCP and I wanted to know which easy setup setting I should use to upload my footage to get the best and highest quality... Thanks

As long as you are using Firewire the quality of your video will not change one iota from what it is on the tape as you are just doing a data transfer from the tape onto your HDDs.

I use either hdv 24p or import as ProRes422. Make sure you create a new sequesnce in your file browser bin after changing the easy setup settings.
