Is there a quick way
to adjust all edited clips in the timeline via changing the master clip in the browser?
I just took over a project whereby the footage tanked in got squeezed into 4:3, I clicked on the anamorphic column in the browser and the master footage in the bin changed back to 16:9 but all the edited footage in the timeline stayed the same. Is there any way to get all these to change with one move? The sequence settings already matched but clips are still squeezed. Thanks |

Yes there definitely is a quick way :)
Making sure all your footage and sequence settings are correctly set to anamorphic select all clips in the timeline and go to edit-remove attributes, then make sure that only the distort check box is active then hit ok, and you should be good to go.

Set it the way you want it with one clip. Then copy that clip from the edit menu. Select all the other clips you want the settings to apply to, edit>paste attributes. Select all the attributes you want to apply, hit ok. Should be all set.
