Ah. Quicktime 6.4. That might be my problem. I downgraded to 6.3. Does anyone know if they re-released 6.4 or is it the same 6.4 of old that was supposedly evil and caused acid rain and whatnot?

I am mid project. I should probably wait to update for now.

Never upgrade in the middle of a project. It's Murphy's Law, I'll guarantee something will go wrong then.

QT 6.4 has not been re-released. Apple would use an incremental version number. QT 6.4 is certified for FCP. Does that mean that there won't be isolated instances of compatibility problems? No. But the vast majority of users have zero issues with it. Considering all the possible variables, Apple can never 100% guarantee software compatibility with every machine.
