Transferring FCE Medial Files to External HD

Preface: After a two day search for this answer on Google and DVinfo forum, I'm breaking down and posting a thread. I did my due diligence. Promise.

I am trying to move my FCE medial files and projects to an external HD. Any direction?
How Do I get FCE to know where the new scratch folder is?

If there is already an, unknown by me, answer to this, please feel free to send a link. Or a video (i'm much more of a visual learner). ANY lead to the answer would be good at this point.

Thanks in advance!

System Settings - Scratch Disks. You can select the external HD and deselect the internal one.

Thanks! I think I get it now. I guess we'll see!
