Final Cut only plays first and last frame on second monitor

Hi,

I am working on a feature film shot in HD with a Vericam. Here is my problem: I am using an HDTV as a second monitor and when I play video in FCP I can only see the first and last frame of the video on the second monitor, the video plays back fine on my computer's monitor.

Here is my set-up:

Panasonic HD 22" TC 22LH1
FCP 5.04
G5 Dual 2.0
Decklink HD Blackmagic
AJA HD 10 MD2 Downconverter
HD-SDI input to Composite out into TV composite 1

I have checked to be sure that I am playing "All Frames"and mirror is checked. I think I have tried every preset that has anything to do with HD in Final Cut. So let me know if you need some more information and thanks for the help.

Make sure you are running the latest decklink drivers. v5.4.2 is the latest as of today.

Install, restart, and then select DVCPRO HD from the Easy Setup menu.

I am a little confused on your monitor setup. Are you monitoring an SD downconvert via composite, even though you have a HD monitor? Do you have the multibridge?

First let me say thanks for the fast reply. Thanks.

I think I have the latest drivers, that is unless they updated in the last coule of weeks. I'll check that.

The signal from FCP is going into the AJA HD-SDI input and out composite into the HDTV. Do I not have to downconvert? I assumed that that was the only way? If I could go out the Decklink HD directly into the TV that would make things a lot simpler. I'm going to check on those updates.
