Export to AVI

Is there a way to render the timeline to an AVI in finalcut?

I just did this a couple of weeks ago. I think it is Export using QuickTime then you can select AVI.

You may have to download a codec for quicktime just google quicktime avi codecs and you should be ready to rock and roll
