MultiClip acting strange from XL H1 zoom

I tried to make a MultiClip in FCP from two cameras, one Canon XL H1 in 25F mode and one XL2 which I had converted to HDV 1080p25.

Because cameras stopped and started several times and audio was captured by separate DAT, I added the audio in both timelines and aligned all the clips along this audio for syncronisation to only get two angles. Then I deleted the on camera sound tracks. Then I exported these timelines to QuickTime clips. Then I made a MultiClip from these QT clips.

Now hear this strange: 22 minutes from start the view in the Viewer gets crazy. Angle 1 from the HDV camera is replaced with the footage from angle 2. Then 1/4 of this picture is replaced by a down scaled picture of the Viewer (to 1/4 of the original) and this serie goes on several times with smaller and smaller pictures inside each other! Okay, the attached picture says more than thousands of words ...

All this is trigged by a very rapid manual full zoom out on the XL H1.
However, no problem is visible if you play the clip or sequence. The only problem comes when doing a MultiClip.

Anybody who knows what is going on or what to do? I will do some more experiments here.

I will answer my own question! The problem was solved when I selected "Make movie self-contained" and "Recompress all frames" when exporting the sequence prior to making a multiclip.
