Video For WEB - AVI OR MPEG?
Hi guys,
I have just done a short promo vid for a radio station and they want to use it on their website. As I have never compressed video for the web before, does any1 hav any pointers? Can I use Adobe prem pro to export to a file that will work? They want it kinda small and an avi format. Any help? |

avi is not web format, you'll probably want windows media 9(.wmv)... use one of the two-pass vbr encoder presets.

.avi doesn't have to be neccessary DV.avi (that is "uncompressed").
.avi is container rather than format so using the term .avi for web might mean DivX format for example. |
