Sony V1U and the Fire Store FS 4 pro HD at DVinfo.net

I am new with this camera and DTE can you please help in the simplest way. I am a 25 year veteran of the video business but all this new stuff in driving me crazy.

What is the proper procedure to hook up the Sony V1U to the Fire Store FS 4 pro HD ? every time to connect i get a flashing pink screen. Please Help
