Bella Catapult update?
Anyone got the inside scoop on this gizmo? Bella's website [http://www.bella-usa.com/Catapult.htm] keeps promising delivery in "late 2006," but they're running out of time. I've heard they've been running into problems, but haven't heard any details.
Anybody know anything they can share? |

I received this from them after deeper inquiry into what's wrong.
** Good afternoon! Thanks for your support of Catapult. I wish I had better news for you, but it looks like we probably won't be able to release Catapult until sometime in 2007. It's actually not because of any technical issues. Because we ran into some issues getting the keyboards out, we had to redirect our resources over to getting our keyboards on the market. Now that they are, we can redirect our resources, time, and focus back on Catapult. We should have some more info up on our website after Christmas, so check back then to see how close we are to releasing it. Thanks for contacting us with your interest in our products! Please let me know if you have any further questions. Sincerely, Elizabeth Martin ** What worries me is that she didn't say first quarter 07...might be a while, might also be january. Either way, I think they'll be the first low cost solution to DTE using one's multiple custom hard drive options. |
