NAB Day One

pretty good crowd the first day. the overwhelming thing that was everywhere were 2 things, dslrs and led lights.
so many companies showing different led lights, some well known names, some ive never heard of. one i talked to from china had alot showing ,but had no distributor here. so kinda risky to get one from them.
there were so many booths that had dslr rigs with accessories and alot of mounts to rig it off your shoulder.some looked ok,some looked ridiculous. some guys were walking around with so much stuff connected to them, it makes you wonder if it was really worth all that for those setups. they are an option if youre not shooting long form, since they can only shoot 14minute clips before you have to hit record again.
i was at a post party and a guy had a setup. there was so much stuff dangling from it.
moving on, sony had their new cams the nx70U and the 35mm.
both had alot of people looking at them. posted my thoughts of the nx70 on this forum.
saw philip bloom doing an interview at a booth as well.
best show of the year for anyone in this biz.
