Wish I could be there, Heath! But, we'll be catching up with you soon enough, looks like.
Say "hello" to Victor Milt there for me.

I will have some interesting gear at the HD Fest, and I'll be able to confirm by next week!

By any chance would that be gear from a company whose name rhymes with "Shannon"? :-)

No Canon or Sharp (or is it Hitachi)--neither make announcements until cameras are ready. Oh, well...

Anyway, I'll have:

1. The JVC HD100

2. The Sony FX1

3. The Sony Z1

4. The Sony HDV Deck

5. The JVC HD10 (if I can grab it from my buddy)

6. The Sony HDR-HC1 (I'm hoping to get it from a friend)

7. The JVC DLA-HX2U (HD projector)

It's gonna be a BLAST! I'm going to show two short films, Release Me and 3 Sisters, shot on the HD10 and FX1 (in CF24), respectively, by Jon Fordham. I'll talk a bit about the cameras and show, with the HD projector, the images that can be achieved. And more! It'll be a TON of fun!

For details:

Thanks,

heath
