Canopus Edius NX System to arrive this week!!!!! at DVinfo.net

I decided the next HDV training title, due out in late January willl be produced using the Edius NX system. This is the new real time editng system from the geniuses at Canopus.

The computer needs to be pretty kick a$$ with a dual 3.2Xeon, 1GB of RAM, and in my case 600GB SATA RAID.

With this I should get 3-4 layers of HDV video in real time with effects and transitions and more.

I hope to be able to give it a try Friday, or Sunday. My wife says I have Saturday off - not sure why.

More to report. Anybody tried one of these babies yet?
