panasonic HD firewire deck.
How can you use this deck to capture and edit HD through firewire? you need special capture cards to capture 10-bit uncompressed digibeta, so how can you capture HD since it has a bigger color space and has an even higher bit rate?

Editing in Final Cut Pro HD is suppoerted natively over firewire. Here's a link that has some technical info:
http://www.apple.com/finalcutpro/codecs.html Panasonic's link is: http://www.panasonic.com/business/provideo/nab_access_hd.asp |
