Will i always loose all info when i render to MPEG2?

Hi!

I have always rendered my movies to either avi or wmv files and when i view the properties of the moviefiles i get all information on the file for example:

Datarate, Video Sample Size, Streamname, width and hight (and so on)
But when i render to MPEG2 (m2t) i loose all this information?

Cant MPEG2 contain this information or is there any other issue that makes me loose all this info?
