HD-DVD Recorder?

Anybody seen this.

I was looking up HD-DVD burners and came across this. I was wondering if it could be used as a poor mans Wafian.

I saw 5 discs for sale at Fry's last week. They were in with the Blu-Ray discs. Did not bother checking the price.
