AspectHD or Twixtor/Fieldskit???

Im planning to buy either AspectHD or Twixtor/Fieldskit(both)???

I intend to do 60i -> 24p conversion, deinterlacing, slow mo and such. What are the differences between the AspectHD or Twixtor/Fieldskit(both as a combo)?

Thanks!

Apples and Oranges.

Aspect HD provides the capability to editing HDV using accelerated processes. The codec supplied also allows you to use HDV in After Effects. The huge advantage of the wavelet based intermediate codec becomes more evident to me every day.

Twixtor is great at slow motion. If After Effects does not do the trick for you, then Twixtor is the next step to take.

Fieldskit is for after all else is said and done I believe.

AspectHDs primary function is to provide a high-quality codec, that avoids inter-frame compression, to improve the ease and quality of editing HDV footage on modestly-powered computers. Its framerate conversion and deinterlacing functions are subsidiary features - useful but limited flexibility.

Twixtor/Fieldskits is an effect processor, with many sophisticated options in terms of frame and field rate adjustment - for example it can implement field interpolation. It relies on you already having have a suitable codec for your material.
