Redrock M2 Encore & JVC Hd 201 (or 200)
Hello,
anyone using Redrock M2 Encore & JVC Hd 201 (or 200) ? Just to know how to activate the "built in automatic flip image" on the camera when using a 35mm adapter, and, so, get rid of the microX encore flip device, just to have a less cumbersome rig And, of course, tips & tricks are welcome... Thanks in advance, Giovanni |

Going completely from memory here, as I do not have the camera in front of me, I think you go to CAMERA PROCESS on the menu, go to the NEXT page and there should be a ROTATE option which will flip the image 180 degrees. Anyone please correct me if I am wrong. This option is a brilliant addition to the 200 series.
As for tips and tricks, three keys things: 1. Have a good HD monitor at all times 2. Have an experienced focus puller 3. Have lots of light, as you are losing at least a stop, of course depending on the lenses you are using. We had a arris -2K, 800w and 650W with dimmer. I recently posted a thread here with a link to a behind-the-scenes on our feature film where you see our 201 on action with a 35mm adapter and Minolta lenses, with interviews with the camera operator and DP. Take a look if you get a chance, as it might be helpful. All the best Dan
