HD100U errors =(

I JUST got my camera no more than a week ago and have probably shot less than 20 minutes, if that and I am already getting malfunction errors.

I am getting Errror 7302m"SUPPLY REEL ERROR" and "DRUM MOTOR FAILURE."

Anyone else getting these errors, and if so, how do you fix them? Do I take to authorized dealer, and if so, do I have to pay for this if I have the warranty? I am really annoyed.. =(

HELP! Anyone..

If you purchased it on an authorized JVC dealer you won't have to worry about it, if you ordered from another country like me you'll probably have to pay shipping costs. I will also have to return mine, besides the SSE it wasn't recording in DV mode... it seems to be recording now but it may stops working any time. I talked to my dealer, he told me that it shouldn't have SSE and he was getting in touch with JVC and than will give instructions this week. I wasn't aware of the non recording issue when I spoke to him, but I'm sure my problems will be sulved.

i had this problem and it was due to where i put the tape stickers. If your camera wont lace up or eject and you have this problem it could be that the tape sticker obstructs the mechanism which exposes the tape to the heads. Pull the tape door off (2 screws) and very carefully make sure the tape is sliding through its guides correctly. All i had to do was make sure the sticker didnt block anything and then pulled the tape out. Just dont force it........... or you could just take it to jvc.
In a nutshell, i think you have to be quite careful loading the gy101e with tapes, definitely cant just drop the tape in and slam the door shut like a digi beta tape for example.
