PAL HDV presets missing on Final Cut Pro5

Currently there are no capture HDV PAL capture presets on FCP5 for the JVC HD100E camcorder.
Hopefully a maintenance release will soon remedy this omission.

Any information re 3rd party workarounds would be appreciated.

I was playing with a PAL HD100 over the weekend, and even with the free combo of DVHSCap (from Apple's developer downloads) and MPEGStreamClip converting to AIC (as I don't have DVCPRO-HD PAL settings for 720 *either* grrrr), I hit a brick wall with the HD100's m2t files being '50fps'.

The only solution was to make a distress purchase of LumiereHD (£107) in order to get their 1.6b2 beta that supports 25p.

I could transcode from the m2t files to Apple Intermediate Codec, though the whole process was long and drawn out, I couldn't do scene detection, and the software is *beta* so expect it to fall over a lot, and occasionally require reinstallation and other fiddles.

We've been spoiled by the 'DV-ease' of the Z1 hoofing HDV stuff into FCP...
