New Member, HM700 firmware question
Hi All, new to the board and new to owning a HM700.
Firstly, after years of using Sony (VX2100; HVRA1; Z1) I finally feel it is time to flee the Sony nest. I have decided to go for a HM700 - haven't got it yet, but put a deposit on it. I hope I have made the right decision. I managed to get an ex Demo with 60 hours fan time on it, with SWIT battery pack and charger, tripod footplate and Canon 14x lens for £3495 ex VAT - I am hoping that is a decent deal. Anyhow I was wondering whether there will ever be a Firmware update that will allow interval recording - is this a no no or what. I have read some threads on here that it was high on people's wish list, however it looks like it hasn't happened - is there a chance? Also while I am at it - has anyone any experience with the Red Eye wide angle adapter? Can it be used on the canon lens, and if so is it any good. Can I just say, this site is an amazing wealth of information. This is the internet democratizing information at it's best! Cheers Keith |
