IR daylight sensitivity on GY-HM700
I'm wondering, has anyone either tested or found that a IR cutoff filter is needed on the 700's?? Living in the Northeast US with lots of UV and very bright lighting during the day, I'm considering a purchase of a Schneider 4x4 filter that does both UV & has a IR cut for those times when needed.
Under most cases I'm always using a ND gradient of some value, and I have no UV 4x4's as I've been told (correctly/incorrectly) I don't need one.. Thoughts on that?? What are your thoughts. Is IR a problem for the 700 series in daylight, or a misconception.. This is what I'm proposing to use: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/567980-REG/Schneider_68_121044_4x4_Tru_Cut_Ultraviolet_UV.html Steve J. Nordahl Bethlehem, Pa. Last edited by Steve J.
