Use Mini DV stock bought in another continent?
I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but would like to doublecheck.
There's no problem using Mini DV stock bought from B&H in the US in a PAL camcorder bought in Europe - right?? PAL/NTSC is only the signal you record on tape, and totally absent from the tape itself while still blank?? |

NTSC tapes are longer in length, so you'll have slightly longer total recording times. This was discussed a few years ago and you can do a search if you like. I recall that the NTSC tapes are a few meters longer.

Graham, I use US bought (B&H) tapes here in New Zealand without a problem.
