D90 I feel, therefore I am on Vimeo

Hi all.

Here is my first short film using the D90. I used two Nikon zoom lenses (17-35 f/2.8 and 80-200 f/2.8) for this project. Monochrome preset with sharpness set to zero. Hope you like it.

Good stuff. I like the minimalism.

27 seconds of titles and intro for a 40 second piece does not a happy Dylan make.

I loved it, but ditch everything but a single title before your short starts... especially the stock FCP cheesy filmesque countdown cliche that screams "my first time editing".

Did I mention I actually loved it?

Also, loved the music, but you didn't credit it. Can you tell me what it was from?

Thanks alot guys. :)

Dylan, I have used that counter as a signum for all my projects since ten years back. I edit on Premiere, but you are right, I should have removed it for the Vimeo version. I also credited the song on the Vimeo page, its Guiseppe Verdi's - Dies Irae.

Oops, mistook it for the FCP one, but you get my point.

Also, I was disappointed that the piece was over so quickly. I want more!
