atfer compression i experience 'widescreen wobbles'...

Afternoon folks..

iv'e 95% finished editing my first showreel (music promo) and i have exported the 'finished' piece from FCP as a straight up quicktime 7.

Now using this method of compression...

http://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage...ssor_gary.html

..which looks pretty good, or at least better than the H.264 800/LAN options, i experience a subtle but definatley apparent wobbling of the widescreen bars (up and down) - almost like a flickering. Now iv'e tried using the matte w/screen bars in effect-matte on FCP, and also cropping the shots to replicate the size of the bars, but i still get this surreal wobble. Admittedly it doesnt look as bad when uploaded to the web but it's problem i'd prefer to iron out regardless, considering the money, man hours and general elbow grease ive put into the video.

This looks like the site where you all know what you doing...i'm new to compression etc so it's the usual case of any info will be appreciated.

looking forward to sharing the finished video with you all within the week ... :) :)

Check your interlacing. Maybe you deinterlaced using 'bob' method instead of 'blend'?
