panasoic MX500 copying to hard drive

I'm completely new to this, and despite reading the various manuals, I can't get files (video) transferred to my hard drive.
It came with DV studio 3, and I've been able to download stills, but can't seem to get any video files.
Can anyone help?

Bill (very frustrated)

Give us more details on your computer system, OS, ram, HD, software, etc. It all helps. Are you trying to copy directly to your hard drive? How are you connecting your camera to your computer?
