Sony DSR-DU 1 Hard Disk Recorder at DVinfo.net

Is anyone using one of these hard disk recorders with there dvcam camera?

I think it may be a good "piece of mind" purchase. However, at £2000, its very expensive.

Any thoughts?

For peace of mind, another DV camera running in VCR mode might be much more affordable.

There is one of the VX2000/PF150 forum members that just purchased one but he has not reported back in with his experience.
