is anyone familiar with the panasonic AW-E650, 350, 750 etc?
... because i'm messing around with one at the moment and i'm a bit puzzled.
the camera can be switched between "field" and "frame" mode. frame-mode is said to increase vertical resolution but decrease sensitivity. this frame-mode would not be the same as cannon's XL-1 frame-mode which increases light sensitivity and decreases resolution (through line-summing)... my guess is that it would be closer to the VX2000's 'progressive' mode which also increases vertical resolution whilst decreasing light sensitivity (and frame-rate) but the thing is, when switching between field and frame-mode, i just can not see any difference to the picture at all. i'm entertaining a few theories, but anyone here maybe have an idea of why this is? very confusing |
