6 pin 1394 on DV Decks?

I'm sure there are no DV cameras with a a 6 pin 1394 port but are there any DV decks made with a 6 pin 1394 port in addition to a 4 pin port? I just got an ADS Pyro A/V link to be able to convert Anolog to DV or DV to analog and the output is 6 pin 1394 only. It comes with RCA composite cables, Y/C, 4 to 4 pin 1394 and a 6 to 6 pin 1394 but NO 6 to 4 1394. So, if you want to convert analog to DV and your going to a deck or camera with 4 pin you had better have a 4 to 6 1394 cable or you ain't going to be doing anything. I wonder why they didn't include a 6 to 4 pin 1394 cable?

Can you not use this product as a direct DV device? Sort of a transcoder. Capture through this rather than a deck?

Yes. That is what it's basic design is, straight from an analog source to an NLE. I use it in the field for capturing from any analog source to my laptop, DV camera or a DV deck, all of which only have a 4 pin 1394 I/O. However I do now have a PCMCIA card with a 6 pin 1394 port. But if I want to capture to the camera or my deck, I'll have to buy a 6 to 4 pin 1394 and that's my argument. Why didn't they include that cable like they did all of the other cable formats that they provide with this unit.
