HMC40 Thanksgiving
It's a family video, but shows how well the camera can handle mixed, indoor lighting and spontaneous conditions. A few more practice sessions like this should help master getting the correct white-balance more often.

Dan, what a lovely family you have. Makes me miss my extended family in Pennsylvania.
You've managed to get really great shots indoors. What were the lighting conditions and your scene settings? I've never managed to get really rich colors under indoor lighting yet. |

Sherri,
Thank you for the kind words. I kind of like them too, but I'm biased. I favor a bit of oversaturation , so I set Chroma Level at +2 to 4 (still cameras might call this Vivid). Lighting was mixed, but mostly sun, so I often went with the camera's 5.6K White Balance. I prefer manual White Balance, and hope with practice I can improve setting it on-the-run. The Scene File Color Temp is also handy for smaller White Balance adjustments. Kind Regards, Dan |
