HMC150 Batterys and chargers
Attention HMC 150 Owners.
Can you please tell me what size battery came with your HMC150. I have looking at a couple of places some say its 2460mah and others say 5400mah. Would this just be a miss print or is it possible that the camera comes stock from different places with different sized batterys. Also does the camera come stock with a stand alone charger (ie. not needing to be connected to the camera to charge)? If no can you suggest a good aftermarket stan alone battery charger and where to get them from. thank you |

Hi Stu
Depends on the package!! My mate Shaun got the big battery from GMP when he bought his!! You always get a standalone charger but BEWARE!! You can ONLY use the genuine HMC batteries or IDX from the USA...Generics do NOT work!!!! I would just stick to the Panny charger that comes with the camera BTW: If you import the IDX battery it cannot display the time left on your EVF..but works in the camera!! The 5800mah battery costs around $200+ from GMP so factor that into your costs if you find a sweeter deal!!! You might just get the smaller battery and a $200 discount!!! Chris |
