DVD Recorder for TM-700

I need to purchase a DVD recorder capable of handling the TM-700 1080P at 60 frames per second?

I have never purchased a DVD recorder before so please give me some help with this so I don't buy the wrong one and wish I hadn't......

Thanks in advance for any and all help....I do appreciate it...

Don

ps...another question.....since I have never used a DVD recorder for playing back movies out of a camcorder will I be able to transfer it from my TM-700 to DVD and then back off the DVD to then edit it with movie editing software?

Not quite understanding the question, but most any computer based DVD burner will allow you to copy & burn the AVCHD (i.e. MTS) files to a DVD. The problem comes in playback as 1080 60p is not included in the DVD standard see: DVD-Video - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia For that matter, its not even in the BluRay standard.

You will be able to play 1080 60p Video media using Windows Media Player or VLC or other computer - based Media Players, but I'm afraid you're "outa luck" for playing via a stand alone DVD (or BluRay) player.

Does that help?
