				progressive verses progressive

I came across another interesting post from PALsville. It was suggested that the TRV900's and VX2000's progressive scan mode was better than the MX500's progressive (frame mode). So this got me asking myself why would anyone want to shoot in 12.5fps in PALsville. Am I missing something? Do these Sony PAL models shoot 25P?

"So this got me asking myself why would anyone want to shoot in 12.5fps " maybe theyre being paid by sony.. who knows... but there is NO WAY in hell that the MX500 frame is inferior to Sonys... NO WAY... its FAR FAR SUPERIOR by a long shot...... |

I speak as a TRV900 PAL user... it absolutely does not shoot in 25p. If it did, I wouldn't be buying a GS100k. (Yes I would.) |
