is gs400 to big for run and gun?

I see gs400 is bigger then other Panasonic video camcorders. Still good for run and gun or to big?

It's not too big but we don't know if it's easy to grip such as a MX5000/PV-DV953---the MX300 is not easy, the ridge is too small for its puffed plastic body, PV-DV601 like. This isn't a bad thing, though.

You keep mentioning, run n gun. As I said, I don't run. But you ever considered, peek n run? Or, peeka-boo? See here:
