>have you upgraded the firmware of your MX300? Seems to improve the OIS and some other stuff!<

I had it upgraded to version 1.5 a while back. I think I'll just leave it with that. 90% of the time, I use a tripod, with OIS "shut off."

I also think that I'm going to hold off any any new cam purchases. Actually, even if I had the extra money right now, I'm still going to hold off. (I have my reasons.)

I've been beefing up my SLR with extra lenses and stuff, these days. I just bought one off of e-bay last week, but haven't recieved it yet.

hmm, I'm just the opposite. I will be ready to buy before end of Jan. Finally have the funds. Of course my wife will kick my butt, but it's worth it.

Ask your wife to spank you instead. It doesn't hurt as much. The trouble with my wife is that she goes for my head! She does those d_mn knuckle push-ups everyday, and likes to show me how strong her knuckes are.

I do a lot of photography, and I need one more lens: a 100mm or 105mm (Nikon). But these older manual lenses are difficult to find...in good shape.
