100a in stock?

Are some of the package deals pretty good on the 100a?

I only see the 100a in stock at a couple places like B&H and Abel Store.

I have been using B&H for many years and I was wondering if the package deals at Abel Store are a pretty good deal.

For example at Abel Store:

The DVX100A Starter Kit for $3985.00)
The DVX100A Starter Kit includes:

• Panasonic DVX100A - Mini DV 24p / 30p / 60i Camcorder, with 1.6ah Li-ion battery, AC adapter / charger, eyecup, wireless remote control, microphone holder, 63-minute DV Master tape, shoulder strap, lens cap, instruction manual
PN-AG-DVX100A

• 2 Panasonic 5.4amp Lithium Ion Snap-on Batteries
PN-CGAD54SE/1B

• Panasonic XLR stereo mic with windscreen
PN-AG-MC100G

• NEW Kata DVX100A Carry Case
PN-AG-YUSC-100

Kit also includes one additional 5.4 amp battery and a Kata soft carry case, not shown in picture below.

Thanks for any comments. I am looking to purchase a 100A and possibly some accesories in the next couple weeks.

Just received my DVX100A

I bought mine from B&H and received it in two days. The battery is charging and I am looking forward to a fun weekend.

I have used B&H for a long time for photography equipment.

Generally they are pretty good but I have had problems with them before.

Did you get anything to go along with the 100a?

I also purchased my 100a from b&h. I got overnight delivery and it actually showed up the next day. I live in washington state, so going from NY to WA and actually having it on time is great.

Abel was out of 100A's so I ordered from B&H - UPS 3-day select out to Washington. Ordered the anamorphic adaptor (for max quality on film out), Bogen 503 head and ball mount, and Pelican 1600 case. Abel currently has slightly better prices on individual items than B&H but I've ordered lots from B&H over the years.

First Impressions of the DVX100A

This camera rocks!

The colors are crisp, the audio is terrific. Outdoors on a clear cold day the pictures on full auto are just perfect.

Everything you have heard is true. Get one ASAP.

Oh boy! This thread is going to have a bad effect on my pocketbook. I knew this camera rocked, and I would love to be shooting with one.

I just had my first experience with B&H this week. I live in Vancouver, BC and is probally as far away as possible, but still got it overnight, pretty impressed.

However, I ordered a couple lights, and one of the bulbs was damaged, dont know where along the line it happened... but I emailed b&h and still have gotten no response...

I believe B&H takes every possible holiday available on the calendar, including closing as early as possible whenever possible heheh.

I have been dealing with them for many years for photography equipment.
