PAL interlacing issues on hacked GH2

Hey folks. I have a question about much less often mentioned GH2 series. Recently I shot for a European TV show so needed to switch my GH2 over to PAL. I realized in it's hacked state, I already had the option so set the TV OUTPUT to PAL and wholla. It shoots 25. Shot the footage, captured it last night, and I realize right away, it's interlaced. So two questions:

1. Is it interlaced because I switched movie mode from 24P CINEMA to MANUAL MOVIE MODE? I assumed having a 24P setting wouldn't work for 25.

2. Is there a way to deinterlace the footage? It looks like sh*t the minute there's any motion.

Re: PAL interlacing issues

Forgot to mention, I used Final Cut 7 to Log and Transfer the footage and the hack I'm using is Mysteron.

Re: PAL interlacing issues

Solution:

I looked at the original files (before capture) and they were interlaced, so I figured it was a capture related issue. Once I got to that point, I just treated it like a standard Deinterlacing issue. Thanks to JES Deinterlacer (something I almost forgot I existed because it's been awhile since interlacing issues) made sure to turn on the "Reduce Noise (Fast) filter and boom it worked amazing. No visual quality loss or anything.
