Does the 12-35mm Lumix lens have issues?

I've read some reviews of the 12-35mm lens that mentions a slight 'flicker' when zooming in or out, as well as a clicking noise. Is this still an issue?

This is an internal aperture adjustment to maintain even exposure throughout the zoom range. Zooming in tends to reduce the amount of light reaching the sensor, this keeps the exposure nearly the same.
