What to give to TV
Hi,
I have to give to the TV the Finnal Master TAPE and SD tape. I record in P2 720p and I edit in Premier, so I have the MXF staff. They want HD CAM. Have you transfer your work to HDCAM 1920/1080? We are going to transfer in After Effects the MXF to an uncompressed AVI and then we will send to a HDCAM tape. Has you ever tried that? We are going to do the same to transfer to Betacam Digital Thanks |

This is very simple. You need to know what the TV station needs. You will need to make a conversion from 720 to 1080i to make that HDCAM master tape. MAny NLEs have this built in and it is a rendered output, then once finised play out to trecord on tape. Same thing on the Standard def. Render out the SD and then play out to SD deck.
Perhaps someone can be more helpful if you identify which NLE system you operate, and which decks you have to record to. Best, Jan

Pablo,
Since you're editing on Premiere the best thing would be to post this question in that forum category, then you'll get answers from those who are using the same NLE as you are. A quick search on Google and I came up with this on another forum: Exporting to HDCam framerate : Adobe Premiere Pro Your uncompressed AVI out to an HDCAM deck seems the most logical - once you do the framerate conversion. |
