are these cables interchangeable?
The first one's 6 ft, the second is 10 ft. Anything proprietary about the brand name cable?

Other than the Zylight being a 2.1mm plug and the one you linked being a 2.5mm...!!!
Actually, even if the latter was a 2.1mm, you have to be very carefully when dealing with these types of plugs. They have two specs that are critical, the OD and ID (outer and inner diameter), and they are generally only listed with the OD. So in the above example, the outside may fit but the inside may not, and it won't work. I would contact Zylight and ask what the two specs are on their power connector, and then you can order a third party one if you prefer.
