nrg or bescor light for vx2100

Hi at the moment I'm using the bescor 50/100 ac/dc light on my vx2100.
My question is what difference in a bescor 50 watt and NRG 50 watt?
Will I get a more projected beam and coverage, will it be easier on the eyes, the bescor have defussion but is the NRG much better.

I don't know about the NRG but I do have and use the Bescor 50W however in most cases I use a 20Wbulb in it. I don't think they have them anymore as I haven't seen them on their site but before I got them I used a homemade diffuser that not only softened the light but cut the effective wattage down to about 25 watts. That has since fallen apart and I can't find the same materials anymore so I just tape a piece of TOUGH SPUN on the light (I cover the barn doors so its far enough away to be effective) and it works just fine.
Even with the 50w bulb in it the material softens it up to it's not like a prison break spotlight.
