I would strongly suggest checking ebay with a budget that low, and even there I think it will be tough. I was in your situation last month, you can find some ebay deals with defective recording or lcds that go for under $100 but thats all i found.

Hi everyone,

The selling range after I finish my shoot is $1,600. (Taxes have been paid for already. That alone may save you another $200) I'll post pictures after the shoot so that you can check the maintained condition. The included accessories are the manufacturer basics it was boxed with:

- Lens Hood
- Lens Cap
- Eye Cup
- Shoulder Strap
- AC Cables
- DC Cables
- Video/Audio Cables
- AC Adapter/Battery Charger
- Battery
- Wireless Remote Control
- 1 Year Parts and Labor Warranty
- 90 Days Warranty on Video and Audio Heads

Spend a little more to get the minimum

Ronald, after trolling Ebay for weeks, the best I could do was a brand-new ZR80 for $275, with free shipping. (I have it now & it's, well, satisfactory; i.e., "not a DSR-20"). Before you buy, I recommend that at a minimum you:

1. Buy new; there are too many stories about camcorders' tape drives giving out when used as edit-devices.

2. Confirm that the camcorder you choose has Firewire out (some at the low end don't).

3. Consult the "qualified devices" table for your NLE. Although an NLE may be able to partially control a non-qualified device, some won't recognize some camcorders at all.

Matteblox and Tiffen Polarizer

Hi guys, I am selling a matte box system I thought I would use, but other than setting it up for a test, I never needed it!

What I have is a Cinetactics Matteblox(mb100a). It is a soft matte box for video cameras which also includes a french flag and 2 extra 4x4" filter holders.

You can check it out here: http://cinetactics.com/mb100m.php
And see how it works here: http://cinetactics.com/mb100m-images.php

I also have a 4x4" Tiffen polarizer glass filter. Filter factor is between 2.3 and 2.8 (approx. +1.3 stops). It hasn't been used at all either.

You can check it out here: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=58811&is=REG

Price for the Matteblox: $175, Tiffen filter: $115, for both: $275
Shipping is free!

Remember neither has had any use. If you have any questions feel free to email me: wun_trik_pony@comcast.net

Dave,

I might be interested, but it seems you're a bit high for a used item.
It can be bought from evsonline.com for only $155. I couldn't find it at B&H.

Pete,

If you bought the matteblox and the filter holders from EVS it would be 200 bucks including shipping. Mine is 25 bucks cheaper.

$399 new price!

I am lowering my price to $399 for everything. If I don't get an offer here I guess I will e-bay it.

Peace, Rolland

serial #

Torrey

I recently bought and just received a 2X Century lens ( on this forum) and have learned that the number you mention in an earlier post (#C64453) is not a model number but rather a serial number. The item can be registered with Century and thus give some degree of protection.
